1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Phone Off Yourself ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms apply to the mobile app, the website at phoneoffyourself.web.app, and any related services operated by Heides Corp ("we", "us", "our").

2. Beta Access

Phone Off Yourself is currently in beta. By joining the beta, you acknowledge that:

• The app may contain bugs or incomplete features
• Features, pricing, and availability may change without notice
• Beta access can be revoked at any time
• Your feedback may be used to improve the app

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Phone Off Yourself. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental permission.

4. Your Account

The app uses passwordless email authentication. When you sign in, we send a one-time magic link to your email address. No password is stored. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your email address secure and not forwarding sign-in links to others
• The name you choose to display to friends
• Any invitation links you generate and share
• All activity that occurs through your account

Do not share sign-in links or invite links with people you don't intend to connect with.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the app
• Interfere with or disrupt our servers or services
• Use the app to harass or harm other users
• Attempt to access other users' data without their consent

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who violates these terms.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using the app, you agree to our data practices as described there.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within the app and website are owned by Heides Corp unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost.

Screen time data displayed in the app is sourced from Android's Usage Stats API and may not always be perfectly accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heides Corp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or loss of access.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
